After Sold Out Shows In July Meet the Adebanjos LIVE returns to the historic Hackney Empire for Half Term

Back by popular demand, the stage show of the award winning TV sitcom is back for two days only

The hugely anticipated stage play and award winning, smash hit family TV sitcom Meet the Adebanjos (MTA), is back at Hackney Empire. Due to popular demand and following its successful summer debut showing at the Catford Theatre, MTA LIVE theatre production returns to the London stage once again with performances on the 2nd and 3rd November 2012.

MTA LIVE, tells the story of a larger than life, British-Nigerian family living in London. Featuring familiar characters, many African households can identify with, the storylines and themes become all the more personal and humorous.

Taking place during the school half term, MTA LIVE provides existing, distant and brand new fans, the perfect opportunity to see the full TV cast live and direct. Delivered with high energy directly to the audience, this is great family entertainment, combined with humorous insight into a typical British-African household and community.

Audiences are sure to be entertained by the colorful characters and comedic performances of an Azonto dancing pastor or the sassy teenagers trying to help their eccentric overweight Aunty lose weight. The fun even extends to their cheeky British teenage next door neighbor, who is now fully immersed in the family’s African values, with hilarious consequences. There is definitely something to be enjoyed by the whole family so bring your entire family and friends and be prepared to laugh out loud!
